Treatment Services

Psychiatry Services

For many different types of mental illness, our staff of seasoned psychiatrists is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based care. Our psychiatry services are individualized to treat a wide range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. The first step is an intensive evaluation during which our specialists work in tandem with you to fully comprehend your issues and background. We use this information to create a unique treatment strategy, which may consist of medication management, psychotherapy, or both. Our committed psychiatrists work with you in regular sessions to help you overcome obstacles, build resilience, and improve your mental health.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS is a non-invasive procedure that utilizes magnetic fields to stimulate specific regions of the brain implicated in a variety of mental health disorders. This novel treatment has demonstrated remarkable efficacy in alleviating the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and specific mood disorders. Our team of skilled psychiatrists and medical professionals is committed to customizing TMS therapy to your specific requirements. During a series of sessions, a magnetic coil is placed gently against the cranium and painless magnetic pulses are delivered to stimulate neural activity in specific brain regions. Patients frequently report that the experience is well tolerated and devoid of significant adverse effects. As the premier provider of TMS in Portland, we are dedicated to assisting you in achieving mental health and a higher quality of life through this innovative therapeutic approach.

Individual Therapy

Our committed team of experienced therapists offers a safe and confidential environment for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and difficulties. Therapy and counseling is a personalized treatment for a broad range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and personal development issues. Through a collaborative and empathetic approach, our therapists assist you in identifying your objectives and developing individualized strategies for positive change. The procedure commences with an initial evaluation, during which we acquire a thorough understanding of your needs and preferences. In subsequent sessions, you will engage in meaningful discussions and receive evidence-based interventions to assist you in navigating your unique circumstances. Our objective is to equip you with coping skills, self-awareness, and a sense of resilience, thereby fostering long-term emotional health.

Ketamine Treatment Program

Modern therapies like ketamine therapy have demonstrated impressive effectiveness in treating illnesses like severe depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain. Your journey of healing will be supported by our committed team of knowledgeable professionals, which includes qualified psychiatrists and medical personnel. A series of regulated ketamine sessions are used as part of the therapy, which is carried out in a calm and encouraging setting. Each session is catered to your unique needs and responses thanks to our customized approach.

Bishop Health has a wonderful team of consummate professionals. High quality, outcome driven mental health treatment in Portland. HIGHLY recommended!
Response from the owner: Thank you for your kind words, Andrew! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience with our team. Your recommendation means a lot to us. We look forward to continuing to provide high-quality care.
As a family member of someone suffering from the disease of addiction it is incredibly stressful to be a source of support for them when they ask for help. Searching for where to send them is both intimidating and frightening. We are beyond grateful that our choices led us to a connection with Guardian Recovery's network of facilities. From detox, thru residential , PHP, IOP, and in additional case management services, our family member has been treated with kindness, respect and compassion. And our family has been supported in the very same way through all of the decision-making and navigating next steps. I am not saying GR is perfect, but when we have run into road bumps along the way, we have worked with the staff to manage and resolve any issues. We have repeatedly experienced that the employees at Guardian Recovery bring their hearts to work with them and give their very best to their efforts. We see the miracle of a life saved by the combined efforts of so many people who are dedicated in their profession. It required a high level of openness on the part of our loved one, but when he was finally ready to follow the guidance of someone other than himself, GR met the need and helped him find his way.
Caring and informative people, top to bottom. Put me solidly on my path to a better life. I cannot say enough about Christie Swart, my primary therapist. Professional, kind, engaged throughout the process. Took the time to get to understand my particular circumstances and tailored an appropriate approach. A true gem of a professional.
