Does This Sound Like Your Anxiety?
Not a diagnosis — a pattern check. The more of these fit, the more an evaluation is worth your time.
Why Anxiety Persists
When to Seek Help
When worry starts steering decisions — what you take on, where you go, how you sleep — it has crossed from a trait into a condition. Six months of most-days worry is the clinical marker; you don't need to wait that long to get evaluated.

Anxiety Questions, Answered
Is this anxiety, or is something medically wrong?
Worth ruling out — thyroid issues, heart rhythm problems, and some medications can mimic anxiety. Your evaluation includes a look at the medical picture, and if you haven't had a recent physical, we'll suggest one alongside treatment rather than instead of it.
Do I need medication for anxiety?
Not necessarily. Therapy alone is effective for many people; others do best combining it with medication. Your evaluation lays out both paths — the decision is made with you, not for you.
What if weekly therapy hasn't been enough?
That's exactly what our structured day programs exist for — three-hour sessions, three to five days a week, on a rolling 12-week curriculum. It's a full week of care for anxiety that has outgrown an hourly appointment.
How fast can I be seen?
Most new patients are seen within one to two weeks of the first call. Day-program admission typically happens within about a week.
What if my anxiety comes with panic attacks?
Common — and it changes nothing about where to start. Your evaluation screens for panic disorder specifically, and the treatment plan covers both.
